OWOA - Supporting Education and the Arts

Original Works of Art, Inc. (OWOA) is a film and media program that seeks to educate individuals diagnosed with an intellectual disability or a developmental disability. We are a community whose goal is to infuse curiosity and confidence about film and media into individuals with disabilities. OWOA teaches film and media by providing creative educational classes to Participants.

Community Inclusion Event

Original Works of Art, Inc. hosted our 2nd annual Community Inclusion Event and Valentine’s Day Sweetheart Dance on February 13th, 2020.

A Doctor’s Note on COVID-19

Dr. Ngozi Onuoha is a Primary Care Physician, who is Board Certified in Internal medicine and Geriatric Medicine.  She received her medical training in Nigeria, the United Kingdom and The United States of America. 

Dr. Onuoha has completed a Master’s in Business Administration in Healthcare Management at Western Governors' University. In addition to her work as a clinician, Dr. Onuoha is passionate about helping people optimize their health goals through her writings, outreach and volunteerism.

International Impact

Lagos, Nigeria

Original Works of Art, Inc. was in Lagos, Nigeria doing missionary work, helping children in need at the Little Saints Orphanage in Lagos. We donated monies and supplies to assist with the needs of the children there.

Chihuahua, Mexico

Original Works of Art, Inc. was in Chihuahua Mexico as well. OWOA, Inc. donated monies and supplies to assist with the community and household needs of families there, including Ms. Gabriela Vargas Chaparro, her son Yahir Javier Olivas Vargas, and their family.
