About the CEO - Amir Renfrow

Amir was born and raised in West Philadelphia. His mother and father are entrepreneurs and are activist for the Osage and Pine Street Community Association in West Philadelphia and his sister and brother are activist’s in the community.

While working with individuals with Intellectual Disabilities and Developmental Disabilities, Amir identified a need for additional activities for this population. He noticed that some Providers who served this population seemed to not meet the expectations of the individual(s) in which they were serving, in regards to identifying sound and additional activities that would allow them to be included in the community and have the ability to further express themselves. Amir founded Original Works of Art and identified platforms in which this population would have the opportunity to be included in the community.
